About the role
VWH Capital Management, LP is an SEC-registered investment advisor and private equity firm focused on the U.S. distressed residential mortgage space. With $3.3B in assets under management, VWH seeks to generate long-term returns in securitized products, distressed credit, and whole loans.
The firm was founded in 2014 and certified as a Minority- and Women-Owned Business. VWH manages all investment functions in-house — from sourcing and due diligence to asset management. The firm has completed 14 securitization deals and serves a broad base of institutional investors.
Responsibilities
- Manage investment activities in distressed residential mortgage space.
- Participate in sourcing and due diligence processes.
- Work closely with institutional investors to manage assets.
- Contribute to the development and execution of investment strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in distressed residential mortgage investments.
- Experience in managing private equity funds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of financial markets and regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- CPA or CFA designation preferred.
Skills
- Strong understanding of distressed residential mortgage market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
