dQ&A has been in the business of making life better for people with diabetes through smart and rigorous research since 2009. We help healthcare companies make better decisions by bringing the voices of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals into research on diabetes, obesity, and cardiometabolic disease.

Responsibilities

  • Start with Syndicated Research
  • Work on dQ&A’s ongoing syndicated research studies
  • Become familiar with recurring patient and healthcare professional studies, survey design, analysis, reporting, and quality-control processes
  • Expand into a mix of custom client projects and multi-client research studies
  • Work with account managers to design, analyze, and communicate quantitative research across patient, caregiver, and healthcare professional audiences
  • Translate client questions into clear research approaches
  • Design surveys and analysis plans
  • Analyze data and identify client implications
  • Develop client-ready reports and presentations
  • Present findings to internal teams and clients

What You’ll Do

Within your first six months, you will:

  • Built fluency in dQ&A’s syndicated studies, systems, workflows, and reporting standards
  • Developed a working understanding of our diabetes, obesity, cardiometabolic, device, and pharmaceutical research context
  • Built credibility with account managers as a reliable research partner
  • Taken ownership of meaningful components of quantitative studies
  • Produced clear, accurate, client-ready analysis and reporting
  • Presented findings or sections of findings confidently
  • Showed readiness to take on more responsibility across custom and multi-client projects
  • What We’re Looking For

    • The strongest candidates will bring quantitative research skill, analytical judgment, healthcare curiosity, client presence, and hands-on execution
    • You may come from healthcare market research, life sciences insights, consumer insights with healthcare exposure, medical device or pharmaceutical research, patient or clinician research, syndicated research, or tracking studies
    • We’re looking for someone who is:
    • Strong at turning business questions into workable research plans
    • Comfortable working directly with surveys, data, analysis, and reports
    • Clear, concise, and insightful in written communication
    • Skilled at presenting and discussing findings
    • Self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable managing overlapping priorities
    • Collaborative and supportive in a team-based work environment
    • Curious about healthcare, patient experience, and commercial decision-making

    Preferred Experience

    • 5+ years of quantitative research experience
    • Healthcare, life sciences, medical device, pharma, diagnostics, digital health, diabetes, obesity, or cardiometabolic research experience
    • Survey design and analysis experience
    • Experience presenting findings to clients or senior stakeholders
    • Experience using AI tools to improve research speed, quality, analysis, or reporting
    • Direct diabetes experience is a plus but not required

    Functional Skills, Tools, and Processes

    • Relevant experience may include:
    • Survey design and questionnaire development
    • Survey programming and survey research platforms
    • Statistical analysis and data-processing tools
    • Cross-tabulation, reporting, and visualization platforms
    • PowerPoint and Excel
    • Data cleaning, weighting, respondent-quality review, and segmentation
    • Concept testing, message testing, product evaluation, and positioning research
    • Conjoint, MaxDiff, pricing, and trade-off methods
    • Regression, driver analysis, segmentation, and other core analytical approaches
    • Syndicated, tracking, and multi-client research workflows
    • AI tools for survey review, analysis, coding, synthesis, or reporting
    • Experience with Qualtrics and SPSS is strongly preferred

    Role Details

    • Hands-on individual contributor role
    • Works directly with account managers, under the guidance of the Head of Quantitative Research
    • Starts with ongoing syndicated studies before expanding into custom and multi-client research
    • Compensation: $80,000+ base starting salary, plus health, gym and 401(k) benefits, and bonus potential
    • Remote: East Coast time zone or willingness to work Eastern time zone hours
    • Some US and potentially international travel may be required
