Quantitative Analyst Role, Commercial Real Estate

Responsibilities

• Institutionalize CRE team’s portfolio management and asset management process
• Build and maintain a cloud-based portfolio management platform to process large datasets and support investment decisions
• Create data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that provide real-time portfolio analytics
• Develop quantitative investment models for portfolio construction, risk management, and performance analysis
• Collaborate with Investment, Finance, Risk, IT teams and third-party service providers to ensure system integration and data accuracy
• Utilize data-driven insights to assess investment performance and inform strategy adjustments
• Support the investment and asset management teams in analyzing certain investment opportunities across the capital structure as the need arises

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a top-tier university
• 3-10 years of experience in software development or quantitative finance roles preferred
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) required
• Proficiency in database technologies and data management tools (SQL, NoSQL, Spark)
• Experience building financial applications, dashboards, or analytics platforms
• Analytically strong and excellent attention to details

Pay

The salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000 in base pay (exclusive of bonus or benefits above and beyond the base pay).
