QuantCAD, Quantum Engineer
About the role
An engineer with expertise in electronic apparatus design, construction, and integration. Experience in mixed analog-digital signals circuit design, PCB design and interfacing field-programmable gate arrays with A/D converters is essential as is an interest in the transition from science to technology.
Responsibilities
- Conducting market and technical research
- Prototyping and testing new ideas
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market
- Designing printed circuit boards and breadboards
- Programming field-programmable gate arrays
- Assembling prototypes of miniaturized solid-state quantum magnetometers
Requirements
Applicants must have received their bachelor's degree or have significant relevant work experience to be considered. We will consider qualified applicants seeking full time or part time employment as well as those seeking a 6 month internship opportunity. We will accept applications from those on an F-1 visa with at least 2 years of OPT available.
Qualifications
Useful experience includes familiarity with digital signal processing and filtering, product engineering, low noise electronics, quantum sensing applications. An interest in education and entrepreneurship is a plus.
