Quant Researcher
Role
Kalshi is looking for a Quant Researcher to help build the next generation of financial markets. The ideal candidate will develop and own quantitative models that go into production, create new indices, and solve problems across the exchange. They will work closely with engineering, product, and trading teams.
What You'll Do
- Build and own quantitative models that go into production
- Develop new indices and research problems across the exchange
- Work directly with engineering, product, and trading on problems that don't have established solutions
- Ramp fast on prediction markets and find the edges that others haven't seen yet
Qualifications
- Very sharp, independent, and practical: you figure things out without needing a roadmap
- Strong math, stats, and quant finance background
- Comfortable with derivatives; familiarity with risk and VaR preferred
- Hands-on with Python, statistics, and ML models
- Strong quantitative degree from a leading university
- 2+ years of experience
Pay & Benefits
Salary Range: $150,000 to $250,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role.
