About the role

3Red Partners LLC, a proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, is seeking a Quant to join the team. We leverage technology and math to implement competitive trading strategies across a wide variety of asset classes, with a focus on risk management and leading trading technologies. The Quant will work in one of our offices, focusing on expanding and optimizing current and future trading opportunities in collaboration with an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to optimize current strategy components and identify new trading opportunities
• Research and test alphas to improve existing tools and identify methods to increase trading efficiency
• Focus on enhancing the production trading system and rewriting existing trades and signals

Requirements

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree with an emphasis in a STEM-related field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science) with more than 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Python, C++, and machine learning tools
• Ability to understand the optimization and profiling of trading systems with proven success in developing models in a low-latency trading environment
• Strong multitasking skills, including the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and skills.
