Responsibilities

• Test and inspect Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (i.e., UL1558, UL891, IEEE, etc.).
• Use multimeters and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit design, ensuring accurate wiring and operation.
• Utilize Hipot, test cards, hand tools, specialized software (Siemens WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinCC Flexible, SAP, etc.), and other tools to aid in testing and inspecting.
• Perform inspections/audits of mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of exposure to electrical components or knowledge of electrical components.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language, including Blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability/experience in testing and troubleshooting with strong problem-solving skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years in engineering or quality functions for power distribution equipment.
• Knowledge of prevailing codes (UL1558, UL891, UL508).
• Knowledge of power distribution components (breakers, relays, communication devices).
• Associate degree or technical training in the area of responsibility.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.75
