Based in Hebron, KY the Quality Technician will perform essential job functions associated with heat treatment under the direction of the Quality Manager to meet customer specifications, including assisting other employees as needed. Support the Quality Department in all areas as listed in essential job functions, working closely with Quality Manager or Metallurgist.

Responsibilities
- Identifying and recording present or potential conditions that would have a detrimental effect on product, process, or the quality system and initiating corrective or preventive action procedures to address these conditions and verifying the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- May include controlling or stopping further processing of product until corrective action has been satisfactorily implemented.
- Coordinating the interdepartmental efforts required to comply with quality assurance requirements.
- Identifying quality training needs and taking steps to ensure training is provided.
- Communicating to all levels on the status of the quality management system.
