Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Reads drawings and planning packages, updates as needed for ECN activity or directed changes.
- Verifies dimensions and performs functional/analytical testing as required.
- Maintains calibration listings and updates as needed.
- Proficient in use of calipers, DMMs, Optical comparator, micrometer, ring, thread, plug gages, profilometer, XRF, optical measuring systems. Other inspection equipment as required and trained.
- Inspects and records resulting inspection or audit data accurately and with appropriate detail in relevant systems (SAP, Access, etc).
- Looks for and highlights improvement or failure trends. Supports operations for purges, sorts and blocking inventory deemed defective.
- Writes procedures used for inspection activities, updates planning packages, confers with engineers as needed.

- Dimensional FA Completion time. Open count of DFAs.

- Blocked inventory material documentation and tracking
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate inspection information effectively with design engineers, and operations team
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, angles, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to interpret ANSI GD&T dimensioning and determine best practical approach to inspect all dimensions as needed
- Have working knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software
Education And Experience
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Or three to five years related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Hourly Range
