Description
The primary purpose of the position is to ensure product complaints are processed, reported, and trended in a timely and accurate manner. Working under close to moderate supervision, the incumbent receives general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Policy by building quality into all aspects of the incumbent's work and by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements (including but not limited to being current on all training requirements for the incumbent's position and documenting that training).
- Receive, verify, and perform initial root-cause investigation testing on returned product complaints.
- Enter all information into the GCMS complaint database.
- Ensure product traceability for all products received and analyzed.
- Interacts with other departments (R&D, MFG) when additional information is required to complete the investigation.
- Follow up with CMC to ensure product return or to obtain additional information as needed.
- Forward complaints for approval after ensuring all necessary analysis and investigation information is complete.
- Maintain equipment calibration, supplies inventory, and lab documentation analysis.
- Assist in maintaining and updating return product test procedures.
- Assess and suggest improvements to the existing complaint handling process procedures.
- Maintain lab cleanliness and comply with Corp procedures.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline and 1 year of related experience.
- Previous complaint investigation experience.
- Technical writing experience.
