Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of quality standards across all operations.
  • Follow work instructions diligently to uphold the highest level of quality.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs to understand product specifications and detect deviations.
  • Collect and compile statistical quality data to identify areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of quality control measures.
  • Train the production team on quality control measures, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and product excellence.
  • Review blueprints and specifications, comparing them to produced goods to ensure conformance to design and quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions promptly to address any issues that may affect product quality.
  • Participate in Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in processes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Technician role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration, ability to follow work instructions, and reading and interpreting engineering drawings and radiographs.
  • Experience in collecting and compiling statistical quality data.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control measures and the ability to train others.
  • Proficiency in reviewing blueprints and specifications and comparing them to produced goods.
  • Proven ability to implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Experience in participating in Kaizen events or similar continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to product excellence.
  • A relevant certification in Quality Assurance or a related field would be an advantage.

Pay

$24 - $29 per hour
