Quality Technician II

Performs Physical inspection of bulk containers and disposition labeling.
Maintains Manufacturer Certificate of analysis document files.
Determines test requirement of bulk, reviews test results, and completes applicable test sample documentation.
Performs bulk sampling, including staging.
Reviews Manufacturer Certificate of Analysis against applicable compendia monograph and associated receiving documents for accuracy.
Performs inspections, tests, and disposition of container/Closure repack components.
Reviews labels for accuracy and approval.
Creates, reviews, and approved Certificates of Analysis.
Affords assistance with inspection and disposition of item returns.
Conducts initial investigations for customer and supplier complaints as assigned and internal quality investigations as required.
Trains and mentors junior quality technicians.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of (2) years previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement equipment.
Qualifications
- May require standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
- Utilize critical thinking skills/tools such as root cause analysis and identifying corrective actions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
