Quality Technician - Coudersport

Responsibilities

• Perform all materials and product testing and inspection procedures, including Level 2 liquid penetrant certification testing under UV-A (365 nm) black light
• Ensure high levels of internal & external customer service
• Write brief reports summarizing test results
• Develop familiarity with all quality requirements and manufacturing processes across the site
• Cook off investigations and implement corrective actions related to quality including Preventive and Corrective Action requests
• Uphold high levels of quality standards, inspection processes, and process improvement
• Report out quality issues, trends and losses
• Actively participate in internal and external audits
• Support engineering efforts through participation in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High school graduate or equivalent and 3-5 years minimum experience in a quality lab
• Additional Requirements: Ability to pass an initial and annual eye exam in both vision and color capacities with the ability to acclimate your eyes to inspect in a dark room under UV-A light
• Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)
• Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (22 CFR120.15.)
