Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality of incoming parts, including dimensions and drawing conformity.
- Conduct final inspections of machines before shipment and record results.
- Determine product conformity and release machines for shipping.
- Follow up on the assembly process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support production teams on-site to identify and resolve quality deviations.
- Analyze deviations against technical and documentation requirements.
- Maintain and monitor key quality indicators such as non-conformities, scrap rate, response times, etc.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management and recommend corrective actions.
- Propose improvement plans based on observed trends.
- Lead root cause analyses and corrective action plans using methods like 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
- Ensure effective implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact at the production site for all quality-related issues.
- Participate in defining and updating internal procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in quality, Industrial Production, or a related field.
- Significant hands-on experience (5–10 years minimum) in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in inspection, operational quality tools, production monitoring, and process documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.
- Strong Excel and data reporting skills.
- Good communication, autonomy, rigor, and analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.).
- Proactive, organized, and results-oriented.
- Familiarity with Odoo or other ERP systems would be a plus.
