About the Role

The Quality Technician role at Colorescience is a full-time, remote position responsible for supporting the quality and reliability of skincare and suncare products.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality inspections and tests on products and materials.
  • Document results and assist in identifying and resolving quality issues.
  • Perform internal quality audits and monitor compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain quality management documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure processes align with regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to monitor product standards and support consistent quality outcomes.
  • Experience with Quality Auditing and Quality Management practices to maintain compliance and support continuous improvement.
  • Analytical skills to interpret test data, identify trends, and assist in root-cause analysis for quality-related issues.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures, maintain accurate records, and use basic quality tools and software.
  • Relevant experience in cosmetic, skincare, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods manufacturing is beneficial.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or quality-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with operations, R&D, and regulatory teams.
