Basic Position Duties
To support the layout, testing and inspection requirements for the facility.
Job Duties
- Gage Repair & Calibration
- Gage R & R Studies
- Precision Inspection
- Gage / Fixture Layout
- Supplement Receiving Inspection and in-process Testing activities
- Support New Product Launches
Minimum Requirements
- High School plus 2 years Vocational Technical Degree or equivalent experience in Quality Field preferred
- A minimum of 1-year experience in Automotive/Industrial environment in testing
- Understanding geometric dimensions and tolerances is a must
Special Skills or Experience Required
- Working knowledge of inspection/quality principles
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Ability to work in and promote a team environment
- Working knowledge of personal computer applications
- Knowledge of TS16949 Quality System standards
- Knowledge of basic chemistry and physics in high school or college
- Knowledge of basic SPC principles
