Position Summary
This position reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards, performing and analyzing big component measurements, making quality reports, and monitoring the production phase.
Duties
- Ensure raw materials and finished products meet specifications through meticulous examination and precise measurement tools.
- Verify products meet industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements by staying updated on quality regulations.
- Write reports to document deficiencies and errors in products.
- Communicate identified defects promptly to supervisors and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
Technical and Administrative Skills
- Proven experience performing quality inspections in a heavy industrial environment.
- Proficiency using high-accuracy measuring devices, including ID/OD micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Ability to measure accurately in millimeters.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of industrial products and production processes.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Experience preparing inspection, measurement, and quality reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of wind turbines, gearboxes, main shafts, and large industrial components is preferred.

Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in the following:
- Measuring industrial components using high-accuracy dimensional measuring devices.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- 3 to 5 years of experience preparing inspection, measurement, and quality reports.
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or Quality Technician in a similar industrial environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Languages: Fluent in English.

- License to drive: Yes.
