Summary
The Quality Technician inspects materials and products for conformance to specifications. Functions include:
- Issue first piece inspection using standard measurement tools including CMM, calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gages, and profilometers.
- Inspect incoming, outgoing, and in-process material and or parts for non-conformities.
- Report inspection findings to the appropriate departments in a professional manner when applicable.
- Participate in Root Cause/5 Why and troubleshooting meetings as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt full-time position (40 hours per week). Overtime may be required.
Qualifications
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong computer skills including Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Calipers and Micrometers.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
Work Environment
Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, chemicals, and temperature changes. PPE required.
