Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate troubleshooting adjustments in Dura.
  Complete daily Quality Assurance testing of bulk materials and finished products.
  Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel to properly quarantine suspect material and minimize line scrap/downtime in the event of a quality test failure.
  Report results and communicate nonconformance to the appropriate parties.
  Properly operate, maintain and when necessary, calibrate lab test equipment.
  Ensure the QA lab and lab storage area are clean and organized to ensure safety and productivity and to present a positive image to visitors.
  Assist and maintain the Hold Area.
  Maintain and record all quality test data, per the company’s Records Retention Policy.
• Resolve recurring problems related to job responsibilities.
  Analyze that products meet its quality and release specifications.
  Work in a team environment to achieve production goals and objectives.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related quality assurance or related experience preferred.
  Must have or obtain Job Qualifying Task List (JQTL) in Dura and Flashing Departments for testing.
  Experience with Globally Harmonized System and Safety Data Sheets (GHS/SDS) preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  Valid driver’s license required.
  Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

Pay

• The hourly rate for this position starts at $19.70 commensurate with experience plus $1.00 shift differential.
