About the role

The Quality Technician will coordinate the flow of work and materials between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out necessary in-process tests and document results.
  • Identify, resolve, and implement troubleshooting measures.
  • Check for test plans and develop suggestions for correction.
  • Develop, suggest, and potentially implement organizational optimizations.
  • Serve as the direct contact for specialty departments quality and external complaints.
  • Assist lab in obtaining test and measurement parts from line.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quality technician experience OR completed technical vocational training in tool or industrial mechanic.
  • Process knowledge in forming technology.
  • Good user knowledge in the SAP system and MS Office standard programs.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical QM methods.
  • Confident, personal demeanor when dealing with related departments.
  • Working knowledge of the IDOS and SAP systems.
  • Test plan and process analyst.
  • Organized and systematic.
  • Lifelong learner.
