Quality Technician 2nd and 3rd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform necessary tests and inspections as directed by the QA lead or designee.
• Perform daily inspection activities per customer requirements, document and report results as necessary.
• Report deviations to the necessary people so corrections can be made.
• Perform tasks other than scheduled inspection required to maintain the effectiveness of the quality system, such as 5S, unscheduled testing or inspection needed for investigation to support corrective actions or continual improvement.
• Possible coverage in other areas of manufacturing (i.e., production, forklift driving, cleaning).
• Report inspection data via inspection check sheets and other required data reporting.
• Assist QA engineers for their activities as instructed.
• Train Inspectors or other associates per Inspector Training Standard as instructed by Quality Lead or management.
• Perform various tasks to support departmental operations per the Leads direction and approval.

Requirements

• High school education and minimum of four years of work experience with quality assurance or equivalent experience approved by the Manager.
• Maintain a high level of confidence and have controlled decision making abilities.
• Experience with blueprint reading, statistical process control, mathematical and measurement abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in quality assurance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
