Quality Tech-Sampler (35488)

About the role

This is a contract position for a Quality Tech Sampler with a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI. The assignment is expected to last 6 months to multi-year.

Responsibilities

• Sample all raw material and packaging components in several warehouses
• Sample raw materials used in cosmetic and home care products, as well as materials used in the food industry including allergens
• Sample packaging components in the warehouse, including inspecting shipments for defective components
• Log sampled materials in the QA data system and enter sampling data
• Deliver samples to respective labs including micro, chemistry, and packaging

Requirements

• Valid State of Michigan driver's license (candidate will be driving around the complex)
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• Science background or science degree is preferred but not required

Pay

$19/hr W2

Schedule

7:00am-3:30pm

Note: Raw material samplers must wear shoes with full leather uppers. This is NOT a QA laboratory job but may lead to opportunities to gain laboratory experience.
