Quality Tech 2nd Shift

Our high-tech, multi-material fastening systems are found nose to tail on aircraft and aerospace engines, and are critical components of industrial gas turbines, automobiles, commercial transportation vehicles, and construction and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections on Tucson and customer components prior to coating application.
• Examine components in-process and after coating to customer and industry specifications.
• Perform mechanical testing after coating as required.
• Work closely with shop employees and fellow technicians to support production and quality team members.
• Read and interpret procedures, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with all company, customer, and industry requirements.
• Provide basic assistance with NADCAP audit preparation as required.
• Communicate with customers as required.
• Help ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
• Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills are required.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
• Position requires standing, walking, overhead reaching, lifting (35–40 lbs), pushing and pulling totes, and leaning over machines on a regular basis.
