Quality Systems Lead - 1st Shift

This is a hybrid position that splits time between two areas in Quality; Training and Internal Auditing, working 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
As the Quality Systems Lead, you will be responsible for executing effective employee onboarding and training programs and for conducting internal audits on processes for compliance with requirements.
- Evaluate processes for compliance with quality requirements
- Assist in development of audit plans, audit schedules and conduct quality audits
- Identify processes, situations, etc., where organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement
- Schedule and conduct the new hire onboarding process, assign all new employees to the correct training roles, and audit all onboarding training requirements for completion
- Manage the QMS Employee Training Manager system and create customized system reports as needed
- Conduct hands on training of employees on operational standards and procedures
- Recording operational proficiencies aligned with skill assessments
- Organize and execute a process for maintaining, filing, and storing all training records; both in hard copy and electronic formats
- Documenting non-conformance, observations and recommendations for improvement
- Preparing and presenting quality audit and training status reports to management
Requirements
To succeed at GXO, you’ll need:
- High School diploma or GED
- High degree of computer literacy with Google tools (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to mentor and coach employees
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational details
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Exceptional listening, communication, and presentation skills
- Able to work well with people at all levels of the organization
- Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team of trainers & auditors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read standard operating procedures and conduct hands on training of employees as needed
It’d be great if you also have:
- Associate of bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities
- At least 1-2 years’ experience as a quality auditor in a related industry experience
- Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems

Work Environment
This job requires the ability to:
- Lift up to 25lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
- Sit and stand for extended periods of time, and work in an office, warehouse, or data center environment
