Duties And Responsibilities
- Cook up and facilitate 8D teams in completing assigned customer complaints and investigations within the scope of Precix operations.
- Ensure Precix can promptly address assigned customer complaints.
- Contribute to efforts to continually enhance processes within Precix.
- Aid Quality Manager to keep documents associated with the Customer Complaint System up-to-date and accurate.
- Auditing, Reporting, and Compliance:
- Collaborate with the Management Representative in liaising with external bodies on quality system matters.
- Manage and set objectives for the Internal Audit team responsible for audits of the Quality System according to ISO 9001, ISO 17025, AC 7115, AS9100, and IATF 16949 requirements and the environmental system to ISO 14001 standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
- Schedule and coordinate Layered Audits.
- Perform Layered Audits, as necessary.
- Manage corrective actions initiated from Layered Audits.
Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- Associate degree required, or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school; or 2 to 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred from a 4-year college or university; or 3 to 5 years related experience.
- Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 17025, AC 7115, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Experience or education and training as an internal auditor. AS 9100, IATF 16949 Lead Auditor Certification preferred.
- Experience with FMEA, GD&T, PPAP, and APQP.
- Independent and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication abilities, including presentations to small and large groups.
- Good judgment to prioritize tasks and operate within standard methods and procedures.
- Computer literacy required: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Gainseeker. SAP, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe, Minitab are a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The work environment consists of manufacturing and office environments.
- Manufacturing areas may have exposure to noise, varying temperatures, smells, and chemicals.
- Moderate noise levels up to 2/3 of the time.
- Loud noise levels up to 1/3 of the time.
