About the role
In this co-op, you will work with the Wafer Fabrication Quality Systems team, supporting document control, audit management, change management, calibration programs, and project management. The ideal candidate should have project management knowledge and an ability to understand organizational interactions. You will integrate business needs and requirements into our current quality management system.
Responsibilities
- Support the calibration program with post-data migration activities, including testing, debugging, and follow-up on open tickets.
- Manage calibration-related activities across various Skyworks locations, such as supporting calibration supplier profiles, reviewing supplier information, and assessing supplier performance.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining semiconductor manufacturing documentation (procedures, forms, records).
- Support gap analysis by collecting and reviewing existing process documentation.
- Update tracking tools (e.g., Excel spreadsheets, SharePoint) to monitor progress.
- Support the internal audit program and follow-up activities, including corrective actions, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
- Assist in ongoing Quality Systems projects as needed.
Requirements
- Currently attending a graduate degree program in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Skills
- Basic knowledge of Power BI and data analytics.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Familiarity with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and control plans.
- Knowledge of calibration activities.
Pay
The typical pay range for this Engineering internship across the U.S. is USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour. Starting pay depends on education level, job duties, requirements, and work location.
