Quality Supervisor
Job Summary
Grow boldly with Pretium! We're seeking an onsite Quality Supervisor for our plant in Cleveland, Ohio. This role requires someone who excels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and balances stringent quality standards with practical production demands.
About the Role
As the driving force behind product quality on the plant floor, you'll work closely with a Quality Manager and operations teams. Your responsibilities include developing and executing quality strategies, maintaining robust GMP and quality systems, leading audits, and fostering a proactive, engaged quality culture.
Responsibilities
- Drive Quality Excellence
- Establish and maintain robust GMP and quality systems
- Auxiliary with leading root cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate defects
- Lead Audits & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards
- Maintain audit readiness at all times
- Strengthen Processes & Systems
- Define product specifications, control plans, and validation processes
- Implement monitoring systems and continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze trends and data to proactively improve performance
- Develop People & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop the quality team
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience
- Fluency in Spanish (helpful but not required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (rigid plastics preferred but not required)
- A degree in quality engineering or quality management
- Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and audit processes, food safety programs (HACCP, audits, compliance)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (helpful but not required)
- Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Cause Mapping, root cause analysis, FMEA, statistical process control, validation, and change management

- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently (bilingual)
