Quality Supervisor

About the role

A Manufacturing Quality Control role at Graphic Packaging International involves auditing, monitoring, and ensuring the quality of manufacturing processes and outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. This role also includes testing random samples of finished goods, reporting manufacturing process deviations and defects, and liaising with Quality Assurance to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others, and mobilize resources.
• Mobilize and coordinate resources and set daily priorities for the team to ensure task completion and operational objectives are met.
• Monitor daily operations of a unit or sub-unit, apply operational business practices, and coordinate with other closely related areas to improve efficiency.
• Direct operations of work units, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
• Report any potentially unsafe Quality conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent + 6 years related experience, or Master's degree + 4 years related experience.
• Follow all Plant rules, Processes, and Quality procedures related to production of Safe Quality Product.
• Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
• Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Product.
