Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections and quality tests on products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Analyze production processes and product designs to identify and address quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures to uphold consistent product quality.
  • Collect and analyze quality-related data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of quality control processes and systems.
  • Provide training and support to quality & production staff to ensure understanding and compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality procedures and regulations.
  • Manage raw materials' quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
  • Regularly monitor and review data based on suppliers’ reports, yield, and each process quality.
  • Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
  • Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Accurately record data and production information.
  • Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Qcells.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality engineering (relevant internship experience considered as well).
  • Excellent logic and analytical abilities.
  • Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of quality in the manufacturer.
  • Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate-controlled.
  • Able to cope with pressure, self-motivated and driven team player.
  • Proactive approach toward various issues.
  • Able to communicate at all levels, both verbally and written, effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, electrical, chemical, and other engineering.
  • Relevant experience within an industrial engineering environment (semiconductor, solar, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Proficiency in Engineering tools (CAD, Statics, Minitab, etc.).
