Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections and quality tests on products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Analyze production processes and product designs to identify and address quality issues.
- Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures to uphold consistent product quality.
- Collect and analyze quality-related data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality issues.
- Participate in the design and implementation of quality control processes and systems.
- Provide training and support to quality & production staff to ensure understanding and compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality procedures and regulations.
- Manage raw materials' quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
- Regularly monitor and review data based on suppliers’ reports, yield, and each process quality.
- Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
- Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Accurately record data and production information.
- Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Qcells.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in quality engineering (relevant internship experience considered as well).
- Excellent logic and analytical abilities.
- Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of quality in the manufacturer.
- Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate-controlled.
- Able to cope with pressure, self-motivated and driven team player.
- Proactive approach toward various issues.
- Able to communicate at all levels, both verbally and written, effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
- Awareness of Health and Safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, electrical, chemical, and other engineering.
- Relevant experience within an industrial engineering environment (semiconductor, solar, etc.).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Proficiency in Engineering tools (CAD, Statics, Minitab, etc.).
