Quality Specialist - Product Surveillance Clinical

About the role

Manages complaint handling activities and supports key Quality & Regulatory areas to ensure safe and effective products in the install base across GE Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Uses clinical product knowledge combined with skills in Product Surveillance to handle complaints and assess risk by providing guidance on clinical workflow and how products are used to identify potentially hazardous situations.
• Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
• Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
• Solves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
• Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
• Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR high school diploma/equivalency degree plus 6+ years of clinical or quality experience
• 2+ years of quality or clinical experience
