Quality Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality documentation for manufacturing processes.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure documentation aligns with product requirements.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Process mapping, waste identification, and flow improvement.
• Data collection and analysis for defects, rework, and cycle time.
• Support corrective action implementation.

Requirements

• Experience developing and maintaining Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Quality Documentation.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of Quality and Compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Associates Degree in Engineering, Operational Management, or other related field.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Minitab, or similar.
• Background in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• ISO 9001 Training.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical, engineering, or operations related field OR 1-3 years of experience in quality control, quality engineering, or manufacturing.
• Strong technical writing, process documentation, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong written communication and ability to simplify complex processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and collaboration skills.

Skills

• Familiarity with measurement tools and statistical process control (SPC).
