About the role
The Quality Specialist will support the Quality Department by ensuring all employees understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role involves assisting in the implementation of HACCP, allergen, sanitization, and other programs within the Quality Management System. Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Department in understanding and following SOPs.
- Assist in implementing HACCP, allergen, and sanitization programs.
- Oversee the completeness and accuracy of in-process batch records.
- Review labeling and packaging for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to good documentation practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Compliance.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Environmental sanitation programs.
- Experience with SQF, ISO, GMP, HACCP, or similar certifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and quality control.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
