Quality Source Inspector

General Summary

This position is responsible for performing Shipping Source Inspection of product that is ready for shipment. This position verifies that all customer requirements and specifications have been satisfied, enabling the shipment of the product. This position will interface with other departments as well as customer representatives.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of quality-related practices in aerospace or titanium casting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading reports and using computers.
• Ability to write, type, use a telephone system, and operate office machines.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, stoop, and reach to access department materials.
• Ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force to move objects.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• AA degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of quality-related experience in aerospace or titanium casting required.
