About the role

The Bureau of HIV, STI, and Hepatitis is seeking a highly qualified individual to work as the Central Region Quality Service Manager and Case Manager Educator within the Ryan White HIV Care System. The position will be located at 930 Wildwood, Jefferson City, MO 65102.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the day-to-day oversight of the State Plan Personal Care (SPPC)/AIDS Waiver program.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Department of Social Services (DSS), Mo Health Net Division (MHD), and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the SPPC/AIDS Waiver program.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules, federal, and state laws affecting the SPPC/AIDS Waiver program.
  • Provide case managers and case management supervisors with technical assistance, direction, training, and consultation related to the SPPC/AIDS Waiver program.
  • Serve as the statewide SPPC/AIDS Waiver liaison to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with providers and case managers.
  • Provide technical assistance to providers to ensure compliance with Missouri Medicaid Audit & Compliance (MMAC) requirements to provide SPPC/AIDS Waiver services.
  • Reviews and approves service authorizations and communicates with Wipro to ensure timely and correct processing of approved service authorizations.
  • Review and revise the SPPC/AIDS Waiver portion of the Missouri 1915(c) Waiver.
  • Research and analyze SPPC/AIDS Waiver program reports for trends in client population, enrollment, cost, and data accuracy.
  • Conduct quarterly audits to verify performance measures and program compliance, including client eligibility, verification of services provided, and payment accuracy.
  • Cook up 372 Assurance reports, CMS HCBS Transition Plan, and AIDS Waiver application for submission to CMS.
  • Coordinate quarterly audits to verify performance measures and program compliance, including client eligibility, verification of services provided, and payment accuracy.
  • Travel throughout the state is required with occasional travel for out-of-state training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work with 2 or more years of social work experience or Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker and 2 or more years of licensed master social work experience.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and 2 or more years of licensed clinical social work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and have effective organization and time-management abilities.
  • Able to speak in front of groups and lead effective meetings and trainings.

Pay

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

Schedule

Travel throughout the state is required with occasional travel for out-of-state training opportunities.
