About the Opportunity

The Quality & Safety Data Analytics Associate plays a critical role in collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing quality and safety data to support the improvement of patient outcomes and organizational processes. This position contributes to strategic initiatives by providing actionable data insights, maintaining data integrity, and supporting stakeholders through reporting and training. The role is essential for enabling informed decision-making and sustaining quality improvement efforts within the health system.

Responsibilities

• Utilize database programs and execute data queries
• Use report generation tools such as Microsoft Excel and Qliksense
• Analyze data sets to identify patterns using analytical and problem-solving skills
• Participate in projects and data requests from start to finish
• Develop and prepare scorecards, dashboards, and summary reports for various audiences
• Perform data cleansing, cross-validation, and quality checks
• Train stakeholders on report interpretation tailored to their needs
• Maintain current documentation on projects and outputs
• Collaborate with data warehouse, data governance, quality improvement, clinical informatics, and business teams regarding data quality and structure
• Pursue additional training to enhance application support
• Prepare and organize documents for data entry

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of one year experience in data analytics; two or more years preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Knowledge of databases
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Able to decompose problems, seek guidance, and propose solutions
• Ability to support quality improvement initiatives
• Competence in producing reports that meet organizational data review and analysis needs

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
