Responsibilities
- Coordinate the peer review process for medical staff and system service lines, including preparing case summaries and routing cases appropriately.
- Collect, review, and analyze clinical data related to peer review cases.
- Facilitate peer review committee meetings, including managing agendas, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Prepare reports for executive and board-level review on practice trends and quality activities.
- Collaborate with Medical Staff Leadership to develop review indicators and support ongoing practice evaluations (OPPE, FPPE).
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and policies (TJC, CMS).
- Provide education on peer review processes, just culture principles, and quality improvement to physicians and stakeholders.
- Support credentialing, reappointment, nursing peer review, and clinical quality initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field; Master's preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois or relevant clinical license.
- 5-7 years of clinical experience.
- Preferred: Certified in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
