The Quality & Reliability Engineer
Your role and responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site investigations of reported quality and reliability issues on LV and MV solar and wind power converters at customer facilities and energy farm sites.
- Gather comprehensive field data including operating conditions, environmental factors, installation parameters, fault logs, waveforms, and physical condition of equipment.
- Provide the engineering and quality teams with a clear, factual account of what is observed in the equipment and its operating environment (e.g., thermal patterns, vibration signatures, environmental stressors, site-specific anomalies).
- Support large-scale repower projects and new product introductions by capturing field reliability data on LV and MV inverters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline & 5 years plus or related experience with MV power converters (VFDs, inverters) in renewable energy applications (wind and/or solar).
- Demonstrated experience in field troubleshooting, failure analysis, or quality investigation of power electronic equipment.
- Experience with electronics & quality.
- Knowledge in [list key skills] required or preferred.

Pay
This position is expected to pay between $XX and $XX annually and is bonus eligible.
