About the role

The Quality & Regulatory Program Manager serves to manage the overall workflow for reporting, technical guidance, and ongoing evaluation of risks and program performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manages timelines, workflow, and data submissions to Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and CMS for related audits and compliance monitoring.
  • Responsible for the work associated with the reporting and submitting of data, processes and workflow alignment.
  • Identifies and resolves waiver specific matters impacting workflow processes and interacts with all levels of internal and external stakeholders to resolve problems and/or follow-through to resolution.
  • Responsible for the completion of projects including identification and resolution of risks and issues.
  • Provides analytical support as necessary.
  • Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of all project documentation including all files, records and reports according to the scope of work.
  • Responsible for timely, effective communications with department leadership regarding all events or proposed changes, which may impact regulatory issues, reporting project development, policies or procedures, and/or ongoing evaluation of program performance.
  • Responsible for conducting all research, synthesizes, and communicates information on State Reporting and or other waiver programs underway in Texas and across the nation.
  • Coordinates communication with project teams and with internal stakeholders.
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with project teams, and technical support teams.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Communications, Project Management, or related field from an accredited university. 2 plus years of experience working on and/or supporting project teams or business units. Experience using project management tools, i.e. Microsoft Project or Eclipse.

Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Communications, Project Management, or related field from an accredited university. 2 plus years of experience working with 1115 Healthcare Transformation Waiver or possess general understanding of Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Projects (DSRIP). 2 plus years of experience contributing to and/or supporting project teams.

Preferred Licensure/Certification: Project Management Professional Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma.
