Quality Records Auditor

STS Technical Services is hiring a Quality Records Auditor in Macon, Georgia, to support aircraft maintenance documentation, records auditing and quality assurance activities. This position is responsible for reviewing maintenance records prior to aircraft delivery, verifying documentation completeness and helping ensure all required information, signatures and records are accurate and ready for filing and scanning. Position Overview The Quality Records Auditor reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance and performs detailed audits of aircraft maintenance documentation according to the established audit flow process. This role compares maintenance paperwork against information contained within maintenance systems, identifies documentation discrepancies and works with Operations and Quality Control teams to correct recordkeeping issues. Responsibilities Verify the completeness of aircraft maintenance record packagesConfirm that each required maintenance step is documentedEnsure all required signatures are presentPerform systematic audits of maintenance paperwork against maintenance information system dataReview maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracyVerify that all open and required fields are properly annotatedSupport the audit flow processEnsure documentation is audited and prepared for filing and records scanningReport documentation discrepancies through the EmpowerMX Fleet Cycle systemSupport Operations and Quality Control teams in identifying documentation errorsAssist with correcting maintenance documentation issuesPerform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GEDAbility to understand procedures and apply problem-solving skillsAbility to identify opportunities for process improvementGood judgmentAbility to work accurately with detailed records and documentation Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in an aviation-related field such as management, operations or maintenanceExperience auditing aviation documentation and recordsKnowledge of aircraft records requirementsExperience using maintenance information systemsExperience with EmpowerMX Fleet CycleAircraft maintenance data collection experienceP3E or Lean experienceMicrosoft Office experience, including Word, Excel and PowerPointGood customer service skills About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with leading aerospace, manufacturing, defense and industrial organizations across the United States.
