About the Role

This position focuses on maintaining all Preventative Maintenance (P & PM) components, equipment, devices, or systems. The candidate will conduct equipment surveillance with problem-solving capability in a team environment, working across multiple functional areas and contracts. Responsibilities include performing required inspections, checks, analysis, and documentation of acquired data to ensure production goals, safety, quality, cost, and schedule are met. The role requires availability for flexible hours, including weekends, due to scheduling constraints or emergent conditions. Work is performed under general and supervisory directions, with some repetitive tasks in a supportive role.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance (P & PM) components, equipment, devices, or systems.
  • Conduct equipment surveillance and problem-solving in a team environment.
  • Perform inspections, checks, analysis, and documentation of data.
  • Work within multiple areas of the value stream to support production goals, safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, as required by scheduling or emergent conditions.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of mechanical experience (e.g., automotive repair, plant maintenance, machinery installation/repair) listed on the resume.
  • Ability to work in small confined spaces, at extreme heights, and perform tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, bending, crawling, and climbing.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as required by management.
  • Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to pass a Physical Agility Test.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
