Job Summary
We are seeking a high-performing Medical Assistant to join our Orlando team as a Quality Outreach Medical Assistant (QOMA).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Conduct proactive outreach calls to patients for Annual Wellness Visits, preventive screenings, and chronic care follow-ups.
- Ensure medication adherence by following up on prescription refills, closing medication gaps, and helping patients stay compliant with treatment plans.
- Collaborate with office teams to ensure patients keep scheduled appointments and complete required services.
- Absorb patients directly to close care gaps and improve compliance.
- Track and close gaps in care using EMR and payer portals; accurately document all outreach.
- Partner with providers and care teams to prioritize high-value quality measures.
- Meet weekly and monthly outreach and gap closure targets.
Qualifications/Education
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical or quality-focused setting (Medicare Advantage experience preferred).
- Knowledge of HEDIS measures, STAR ratings, and medication adherence programs.
- Strong patient engagement and communication skills.
- EMR experience (eClinicalWorks a plus).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
