Quality Officer Supplier QA

About the role

Join a leading manufacturer of fresh ready-made meals, focusing on quality management of suppliers to ensure product safety and compliance. You will conduct risk analyses on raw materials and packaging, manage supplier audits and certifications (GFSI, ASC/MSC, IFS Food), and oversee supplier specifications. Work closely with the national QA team, report to the Supplier QA Specialist, and ensure adherence to regulations such as PPWR and food fraud prevention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments on raw materials and packaging.
• Manage supplier audits, certifications, and claims.
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and food safety standards.
• Evaluate and monitor suppliers, supporting quality improvements.
• Contribute to digital quality management and team initiatives.
• Support digitalization efforts and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a food-related field with relevant QA experience.
• Product and process knowledge, experience with QA audit systems.
• Strong administrative skills and analytical mindset.
• Critical, assertive, and diplomatic communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel between sites.
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English, with good PC skills.
• Knowledge of digital QA systems like Quasydoc is advantageous.
