About the role

The Quality Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support MHSATS in providing quality services. They oversee quality functions and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, audit, analyze, and report program performance against established standards.
  • Provide leadership in organizational planning and advise on quality issues requiring organizational solutions.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders including patients, families, providers, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Consult and confer with the DCT Quality Function Lead to ensure quality efforts, programs, functions, and initiatives are aligned and supportive.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of healthcare accreditation experience demonstrating healthcare quality data management and reporting to CMS, NRI, TJC, MDH and hospital leadership.
  • Experience in facilitating process improvement and project management strategies such as FMEA, RCA, 5 Why’s, Fishbone, SWOT Analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for documenting flow charts, trend analysis, report findings, and project management in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, public administration, law, or clinical health professions may substitute for one year of professional experience.

Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience in healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Intermediate technical skills in data management platforms like Business Objects, SharePoint, Smartsheets, and Project Manager.

Pay

$32.97 - $48.60 / hourly; $68,841 - $101,476 / annually

Schedule

Day Shift / 8:00am - 4:30pm
