Collaborates closely with KDHE, KDADS, the EQRO and MCO staff, as well as other external stakeholders. Manages and develops quality and outcome measurement strategies, processes and tools. Assists with oversight of KDHE’s monitoring and assists with federal reporting regarding the KanCare program. Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Leads and directs staff responsible for the Network Adequacy program to monitor MCO compliance with time and distance requirements within the KanCare program.Management of Network Adequacy consists of ensuring the MCOs are following federal requirements and requirements in the KanCare contract.Leads and directs staff responsible for the Program Improvement Plan (PIP) process for the MCOs. Qualifications Education:High School, GEDLicensing & Certification:Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State.Minimum Qualifications: Two years of experience in a health care environment or related setting supervising audit and quality assurance functions, EQRO activities like calculating HEDIS measures, participating in performance improvement project analysis, or working with network adequacy requirements. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.Preferred Qualifications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AccessProofreading, editing, attention to detailExperience communicating with Federal agencies and personnelKnowledgeable in analyzing statutes and regulations and providing guidance on such.Previous Medicaid experienceAnalyze data and present clearly and conciselyExperience auditing and writing analysis papersExperience with statistics, strong mathematical backgroundEQRO activity experiencePost-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate: A valid Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate is a condition of employment for all employees of the State of Kansas.
