Quality Manager - Wire and Cable Industry

About the role

The Quality Manager leads the Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Quality Inspection functions to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements. This role is responsible for the effectiveness of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, supplier quality, customer quality, quality compliance, continuous improvement, and overall quality performance across CableMaster's distribution, build-to-print manufacturing, and custom cable assembly operations. The Quality Manager partners with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to drive defect prevention, process effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements through effective Quality Management System implementation
• Manages supplier quality, customer quality, and quality compliance processes
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance defect prevention, process effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence
• Promotes collaboration between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to support quality goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering
• Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems
• Strong leadership skills and ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
