About the Role
As a Quality Manager in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, you will play a pivotal role in leading and strengthening our site quality systems to ensure compliance with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and global standards. You will contribute to business success by providing quality leadership across manufacturing operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring robust governance of product quality, food safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and EFfCI GMP standards.
- Establish and sustain product safety and quality programs, including HACCP, contamination control, traceability, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure EFfCI GMP compliance across manufacturing, packaging, labeling, storage, and distribution activities.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in internal, supplier, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring effective management of findings and CAPAs.
- Manage deviations, complaints, nonconformances, CAPAs, and change control processes using risk-based approaches.
- Exercise quality authority to approve or reject materials, products, procedures, and changes impacting quality, safety, or compliance.
- Ensure effective control of documentation, records, training, and data integrity across the site.
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI monitoring, audit trends, risk assessments, and management reviews.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, EHS, and Regulatory to embed quality and GMP standards into daily operations.
- Promote a visible quality culture through leadership engagement, coaching of QA/QC teams, and strong presence in manufacturing areas.
- Manage quality performance of third-party manufacturers, laboratories, and suppliers in line with Arxada and EFfCI standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field preferred.
- Advanced experience (5–10 years) working within cGMP and ISO 9001 environments.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, EFfCI GMP, and HACCP frameworks.
- Proven experience managing audits, CAPAs, and quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience coaching and developing QA/QC teams.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document/training systems.

Pay
The expected salary range for this role is $98,000–$110,000 annually. Specific compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, certification, location, and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.
