Quality Manager, Projects

What You'll Do

As Giga's onsite QA/QC Manager, you will own the quality assurance and quality control program for our data center construction projects from foundation to final turnover. You are the last line of defense — and the first line of standards — ensuring that everything we build meets or exceeds design specifications, code requirements, and client expectations. You won't be reviewing quality from a desk. You'll be on the floor, in the ceiling, and in the field, verifying that the work we ship is work we're proud of. You'll develop the quality plan, manage inspection and test plans (ITPs), coordinate third-party inspections, and drive accountability across subcontractors and trade partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a QA/QC role on commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects spanning disciplines.
• Direct experience developing and executing ITPs and managing the NCR/deficiency tracking process on active construction sites.
• Strong working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes (IBC, NEC, ASHRAE, and related standards).
• Experience coordinating third-party and special inspections in compliance with AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) requirements.
• Proficiency in maintaining and organizing quality documentation packages for project turnover and closeout.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and communicate technical deficiencies clearly to subcontractors and project leadership.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing NCRs, inspection reports, and quality status summaries.

Bonus Points

• Prior QA/QC experience on data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical facility construction.
• Familiarity with commissioning protocols (Cx) and functional performance testing for critical infrastructure systems.
• Experience with Procore or equivalent construction management platforms for quality tracking.
• ICC, CWI, or other relevant trade-specific inspection certifications.
• Background working across multiple simultaneous construction sites or programs.
