Quality Manager - Metals Manufacturing

What You'll Do

• Maintain and advance the Quality Management System supporting premium remelted products, managing external quality certifications and ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable standards.
• Oversee internal and external audits, leading corrective action processes, and reviewing and approving certified test reports.
• Drive customer focused quality standards throughout the organization and partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to strengthen quality systems and processes.
• As Management Representative for the Premium Products QMS, be responsible for the compliance, effectiveness, and integrity of the system, reporting QMS performance metrics and recommendations directly to executive leadership.
• Manage and mentor Quality Assurance personnel, support a culture centered on safety and accountability, and contribute to operational excellence across the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 5 years of QA/QC leadership experience within metals manufacturing
• Strong understanding of quality systems, audits, certifications, and corrective action processes
• Prior experience serving as a Management Representative for a Quality Management System
• Familiarity with relevant industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001 or AS9100), to be confirmed against the employer's specific certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with premium remelted products, including VAR (vacuum arc remelting) and/or ESR (electroslag remelting) processes
• Prior experience serving as a Management Representative for a Quality Management System
• Familiarity with relevant industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001 or AS9100), to be confirmed against the employer's specific certifications

Compensation And Benefits

• $90,000 to $110,000 per year
