Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the site leader and subject matter expert for Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lead and mentor Green Belt–level projects and support Black Belt–level initiatives focused on process optimization and waste reduction.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement projects that deliver measurable business results.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root cause analyses, and problem-solving workshops.
- Track, report, and sustain CI project results using KPIs and performance dashboards.
Quality Management & Governance
- Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure product consistency, compliance, and performance.
- Lead the QC Inspector team to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee the Quality Lab through the Lab Supervisor; support product qualifications, testing protocols, and trial validations.
- Investigate customer complaints and internal nonconformances using structured root cause methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, A3).
- Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve process capability, reduce variability, and enhance throughput.
- Support new product trials, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives tied to strategic objectives.
- Participate in customer visits, audits, and technical quality reviews.
- Evaluate supplier performance and provide input on material quality and process improvement opportunities.
Culture & Capability Building
- Train and coach team members in Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving tools.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop standard work, control plans, and visual management systems to sustain gains.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational excellence and quality initiatives.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Quality, or a related technical field required.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification required (Black Belt strongly preferred).
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, and/or continuous improvement leadership roles.
Experience in food packaging or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

- Strong ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Demonstrated success driving measurable operational improvements.
- Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
- Effective project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality/CI tools (SPC, dashboards, documentation systems).
