Quality Laboratory Associate I QC Microbiology Location: Round Lake, IL Fully Onsite Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Job Summary Seeking Quality Laboratory Associate I QC Microbiology professionals to support microbiological testing and QC laboratory operations at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples.Conduct environmental monitoring of surfaces, air, particulates, and personnel.Monitor critical systems including water, clean steam, compressed air, and nitrogen.Prepare media and reagents and operate laboratory equipment such as particle counters, pH meters, SAS, and autoclaves.Record and manage laboratory data using LIMS, maintaining strong data integrity.Support laboratory investigations, root cause analysis, nonconformances, and CAPA.Maintain compliance with cGMP, FDA/QSR, SOPs, and laboratory safety requirements. Requirements Bachelor s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biological Sciences, or related field.2+ years of laboratory experience.Knowledge of Microbiology, aseptic techniques, and cGMP.Experience with LIMS preferred.Strong documentation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.Must be able to work fully onsite and lift up to 50 lbs. when required.Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporins, as the role may require work in the Penicillin facility.
